I got a call from a bloke with an accent claiming someone tried to place an order and it looked dodgy, so he called me since he had my address. I had a look at my Amazon account and found no such order, so I ended the call. Then he rang again, saying he was just trying to help, but I just hung up straight away.

Someone called claiming to be from Amazon, saying I’d made a purchase worth more than £700. Didn’t ring true at all, nodded scam to me straight away.
