Got a call this morning at about 8 from someone saying there was a £49 Amazon order on my account, apparently sent to a London address. They were talking through a loudspeaker, which felt off, and I’m worried they might have got hold of my personal details. They wanted me to confirm the order and mentioned there had been several purchases. The woman was really polite, but I told her I’d need to consider it and ended the call. Something about it just didn’t sit right with me - pretty sure it’s a scam.

I tried calling the number back, but it said it wasn’t in service. There was another call from a really similar number about 10 minutes before, and the same thing happened - total silence and then the call won’t go through when I dial back.
