6 yearsGot a call from this number today, and the bloke started off saying someone was trying to purchase a phone using my Amazon account. He then got me to open event manager on my computer to “prove” that my laptop had some kind of threat. When I pointed out that he was meant to be calling about Amazon, he suddenly said he’d never claimed to be from Amazon and warned me I'd lose all my files if I didn’t act fast!
