Got a call claiming to be from TalkTalk saying there was an issue with my internet and they urgently needed me to log in. When I asked for more info and the account holder’s name, he mixed it up. He did have my postcode and my Tiscali account number though! Told him to call back later so I could double check things. I’ve since blocked the number, found it via 1471. This is definitely a scam, don’t share any details or let them get into your computer!

Got a call this morning at about 8:28 from someone saying they were with Talk Talk and needed to temporarily cut off my internet and remotely access my PC. I mentioned the line was really scratchy and I couldn’t catch what he was saying properly - which was true. Plus, his strong Asian accent made it harder to understand. I just hung up. He called right back almost straight away, but I ignored it.

Got a call from this number earlier, the person said they were from TalkTalk and asked if they could get into my computer. They also mentioned my landline was gonna get cut off. I ended up blocking them with 14258. Watch out, folks!

Loads of different numbers saying they're from Talk Talk have been ringing us lately, including this one today. Thankfully, we've got a call blocker and just hit the block button straight away. It's been non-stop for the past few days. Feels like someone’s hacked Talk Talk and leaked our number. Would be great if they could fix this mess.

On the morning of 31st May 2017, just before 9am, I got a call from a man with an Asian accent saying he was calling from Talk Talk. He told me there was a problem with my internet and warned that if I didn’t let him access my PC straight away, they’d cut off my service. I told him I needed to check with Talk Talk’s support team first before letting him do anything. Right after that, he ended the call suddenly.

Got a call from someone claiming to be TalkTalk, telling me there was an attempt to get into my internet. They asked me to switch on my computer, but I said I’d ring back because I wasn't convinced they were legit. They got quite annoyed, so I just ended the call!

Got a call from 01494452182 which showed up as 'London' on my phone. They mentioned a few bits about me which made me realise my info’s been sold on by some company. When I asked for proper verification, they started getting all muddled and asked why I wasn’t making it easy for them. Then I told them I knew where they really were calling from - Hapur, India - and they just shouted some rude things in an Indian accent before slamming the phone down.

I got a call from 01494452182, which said it was from London. They mentioned a few bits about me which showed someone must have sold my info. When I asked them to prove who they really were with more personal details, they suddenly got all awkward and kept asking why I wasn’t cooperating with their “help.” Then, I told them the call was actually coming from Hapur, India, not London, and they just started shouting some rude Indian phrases before hanging up on me. Proper dodgy!

Got a ring from this number claiming to be TalkTalk. They said my line would be cut off for a few days cause someone was trying to hack my account. Then the bloke asked me to get on my laptop so he could hook me up with TalkTalk's backup support. Sounded like he had a thick Indian accent. I told him something didn't seem right and that I'd just get in touch with TalkTalk myself. After that, he just ended the call.

Got a call from someone saying they were with TalkTalk. They asked me to install Teamviewer, which is basically a way for them to get into my computer. I just dropped the classic 'no thanks' and ended the call.

Got a call today from a number saying they were with Eon Energy. Funny thing is, the same number rang me a couple days back pretending to be from TalkTalk, and once before that, someone from BT Openreach. Both times, the callers had strong Indian accents. Definitely doesn’t seem legit.
