I got a call from someone saying they were with Aviva insurance, trying to help me file a compensation claim for a car accident I supposedly had. Their English was really bad and the questions they asked were super unclear. When I said I wanted something in writing to prove it, they just dropped the call straight away.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, but the person didn’t say who they were. No idea who it might be.

I received several missed calls on my mobile recently. Today, I finally answered one. The caller claimed to be from the DVLA regarding a vehicle with a registration number that didn’t ring any bells for me. I informed them that I had no idea who the owner might be. They expressed their apologies and promptly ended the call. Quite peculiar, really!

At about 4.50pm, I got a call and when I asked who it was, they claimed it was about a government safety alert. That seemed fishy, so I just blocked the number. Didn’t trust it at all.
