Got a call from some robot with a female voice saying something like "your Amazon Prime subscription will renew automatically & they’ll take £39.99 from your bank". Then it said if I want to cancel or talk to Amazon management, press 1 - clearly a trap to get you on a pricey premium number. Obviously a scam, I don’t even have Amazon Prime and £39.99 doesn’t sounds right. I just blocked it. Heard the same recorded message came from 01223 378740 (Cambridge) and also 00904 61445105 (Turkey!). Bet there’ll be loads more of these popping up soon.
