Got a call from 01493720432 about some kind of household survey linked to a washing machine or mortgage details. Definitely sounded like a call centre. I just told them no and didn’t bother with it.

So I got a robo call saying, "Hello, this is Shirley from your internet company. Your IP address has been hacked, and if you don't press 1 to speak to a tech who can fix it (for a charge), your internet will be cut off." Definitely a blatant scam. The call was traced back to Great Yarmouth - why isn’t BT cracking down on these scammers and stopping them for good?

I didn’t get a chance to talk to anyone. It was just an automated voice saying my IP address had been hacked from various locations and they needed a tech to fix it.
