Got a call from a number in Colwyn Bay, but the person on the line had an asian accent which felt a bit odd to me. They asked about a PPI claim with Lloyds Bank, which was strange since I don't ever remember having an account with them. Dont know how they even got my name and number. I just told them I'd already sorted everything and told them to buzz off.

Got a call from someone claiming my PPI claim was successful. He told me his name was Albert Wilson, which seemed strange since he had a distinctly Asian accent. Then he started pushing some insurance deal on me and kept asking for personal details I wasn’t about to share. In the end, I just hung up and blocked the number.

Got a call around 8:30 in the morning, they actually asked for me by name. When I tried to find out who they were, the person just started laughing. From the accent, I’m guessing it’s one of those Indian call centres.

Called by someone named Gladstone Brooks about my PPI claim from 01492554879. Didn’t these things end like 2 or 3 years ago? Had a chat with “James” who I quickly worked out was trying to scam me, so I politely told him to leave me alone. Added the number to my blocked list, but it doesn’t really help since they just keep switching up their numbers.

I was taken aback when I politely expressed my disinterest; the woman on the other end had the audacity to tell me to shove off! Not one to be spoken to in such a manner, I quickly set her straight, reminding her that she ought not to address "clients" in that fashion. Naturally, I requested to speak to a manager or supervisor, but she curtly informed me there wasn’t one available and refused to share the company's actual name, merely referring to it as UK SERVICE. Quite the experience, I must say!

Got a call yesterday from someone speaking in what sounded like an Asian language, but the only words I managed to catch were bananas and avocado. Suddenly, the line just cut off. Then today, I got a call about a PPI claim supposedly linked to my credit card. The caller said his name was Albert Wilson, which seemed odd given the accent. He asked me to note down some claim info, but before I could really get it, the call dropped again.

Had an unpleasant experience with a rather impolite caller. When I inquired why she was bothering me, her response was just baffling. She claimed I "knew everything," which is quite far from the truth, especially since she has no clue regarding how my details might be used. Then, without any warning, she told me to "shut it." In just two days I got hit with about 89 calls from this number and a few others that looked alike, all pushing me to join some survey. I tried blocking them but it made no difference. Told them it wasn't usually an issue but I was at work and asked nicely for them to take me off their list. They flat out refused, saying they didn't want to. When I called that pretty rude and asked for a supervisor, they just hung up on me. Honestly, just block these numbers and make sure to report them!

i keep getting calls from this survey firm, sounds like they might be from india or somewhere around there. the weird thing is they use loads of fake local numbers, sometimes mobiles too. been so fed up now i set my phone to only pick up if i actually know the number, so at least they can’t bother me now.
