Got a call on my landline from 01492498053 earlier. Since the area code sounded local, I picked up straight away. The bloke on the other end had a London accent and knew my name, which was a bit worrying. He said something about loft insulation being installed for free a few years back according to their records. I told him I didn’t remember anything like that, and he just said goodbye and ended the call. Could be a scam, or maybe just a cold call, but it definitely felt a bit fishy.

Got a ring from this number, some bloke with an Asian accent claiming he was from my internet company. Told me to hang up quick, seems dodgy, feels like a scam to me. Be warned!

Got a couple of missed calls from a 01492 number, so I rang back thinking it might be something important. Turns out it was some eco company trying to sell me something, and they just hung up on me! Pretty sure it was just a sales call.
