Claiming to be from Carbon Zero Renewals in Colwyn Bay, they insisted their call wasn't a sales pitch. Their aim seemed solely to reach the owner or manager about solar panel installations. Upon mentioning my registration with the Corporate Telephone Preference Service (CTPS) of the DMA, and as I began jotting down the caller’s details, including the number, they abruptly ended the call. Best to steer clear, regardless of how courteous and calm you might be!

some survey place rang me, i told them i wasnt interested and if it was a survey to just stop, then they just cut the call. ive blocked the number now.

They had the cheek to ask me to verify my address, which they had recited back to me! When I declined to confirm, they wouldn't disclose how they obtained my details. They also dodged questions about their location. It's quite peculiar, as they've rung me three times since then-definitely a scam!

I've been getting calls nearly every day from various numbers and it's always someone from Consumer UK trying to ask me stuff about my home. It's been happening at least three times a day and it's really getting on my nerves.

They wouldn't disclose their identity or the purpose of their call, and then just cut off the line. Quite rude, if you ask me.

I received a call where the chap requested I verify my name and address, which he had merely recited back to me. When I insisted that I wouldn't provide any confirmation until he disclosed the organisation he was representing, he abruptly terminated the call!

This number does one of those automated pre-calls, which just cuts off when you pick up. I guess it’s to see if the number’s live and someone’s there. After that, some real person rings you back later on trying to push rubbish you definitely don’t want or need!
