3 monthsLately, my phone has been buzzing non-stop with calls from numbers I don’t recognise and never share. If the caller's not saved in my contacts, I just don’t bother picking up. They usually ring about 5 or 6 times before cutting off, and I’ve not had a single one call me back. When I looked these numbers up here, most of the feedback was pretty grim, with loads of mentions of scams. So yeah, I’m labelling these as dodgy.3 monthsI've been getting calls on my mobile from someone claiming to be from 3 network, which I stopped using years ago. The woman on the phone, who had an Indian accent I think, kept telling me they’d block my sim in 24 hours. This is at least the tenth time they’ve rung me over the last few years. I always report it but it never seems to stop. I checked the number (01492 411919) and it turns out it’s not a real place - they’re using VoIP or something to mask where they actually are. Watch out for this one.3 monthsThis is definitely a Voxbone S.A. VOIP number again! I’ve had my home phone on their list and they ring from loads of different area codes and numbers. I’ve already had three calls today! They’re pushing everything from double glazing to µPVC, windows, insulation, solar panels… Pretty much every home improvement scam you can think of!Voxbone.3 monthsBeen getting loads of calls on my landline, even though I’ve blocked a bunch of numbers. They keep trying from different mobiles as well. I finally picked up once and it was some place called Green Energy Centre London.Green Energy CentreLondon3 monthsI didn’t say a word, just hung up and went ahead to block the number.3 monthsGot my first scam call of the week today, so annoying! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬4 monthsSomeone rang and asked if I could hear them clearly, which I've heard is a common tactic used in scams to record your voice.4 monthsI got a call from someone asking if I could hear them, but be careful, don’t say yes. It’s a trick they use to steal your voice for scams.4 monthsGot a call from some bloke saying his name was Dave, had a posh accent, was chatting about my pvc windows that are well over 10 years old. Definitely gonna block this number now.Dave4 monthsOn 24th March 2026, around 10:26am, my old family landline got a call from 01492-411919. The 01492 area code is for Colwyn Bay up in North Wales. I don't know anyone in that area so I just ignored it. Later, I tried calling back on a different phone (number not shared). After just one ring, a woman with an American accent came on, saying something like, "Welcome to the Energy Department. Press one to talk to an adviser…." I quickly ended the call. That voice sounded really familiar, like the ones used in scams I've dealt with previously. Definitely mark this number as risky.Colwyn BayNorth WalesEnergy DepartmentPress4 monthsGot a call from James, said he was an energy advisor, but the number didn’t seem very local. I just let it ring off.James4 monthsGot a call about changing my windows, I told them mine were brand new and I wasn’t interested. But then this bloke quickly switched to talking about conservatories. I said again I didn’t want anything. Still, he just kept going on and on, wouldn’t end the call. I told him I get sales can be tough but seriously, I don’t need a thing. Nothing seemed to shut this guy, Dave, up. So I just had to hang up. Don’t really get what his angle was - if it’s a proper company, why call someone so far away? Doesn’t really add up. Just another annoying telemarketer, that’s all.Dave4 monthsGot calls from some bloke named David claiming to be from "windows and doors", but the numbers keep changing all over the place. Looks like I'll be adding a whole bunch of those to my blocked list now.DavidSubmit Your Own Report (01492 411919)
