Got four calls over a couple of hours from this number, with the people saying they’re from TalkTalk’s tech support. I looked up the number and it matches the start of the one used by TalkTalk’s tech team in Colwyn Bay, but it wasn’t exactly the same. The voices sounded like they were from somewhere in the Far East. I kept hanging up but they just kept ringing back. Eventually, I told them straight out they weren’t really from TalkTalk, and they hung up. Just a heads up - don’t let these folks anywhere near your computer!

This bloke said he was with TalkTalk, but when I asked a few questions, he just ended the call. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Got a call from some bloke called Sean claiming to be from TalkTalk, saying there was an error with my router. When I asked if he was certain it’s really from TalkTalk, he went on about maybe it’s Sky or BT. Told him I don’t have either of those, and then he just dropped the call! Proper dodgy if you ask me.

Had another call from a different number, 01487711277, later the same day. The moment they mentioned TalkTalk, I hung up straight away.

I received a rather puzzling call from a chap named Sean, who identified himself as being from Talktalk. He started to ramble on about some error messages my router was supposedly generating. However, when I pressed him, he muttered something about it possibly being linked to a Sky or BT router. Slightly baffled, I informed him that I had neither of those providers. Oddly enough, he didn’t stick around to chat and promptly disconnected the call! Quite the odd experience!

I picked up and they just ended the call straight away. They keep ringing constantly, so I block but then they use a different number each time. Really annoying!

I've been bombarded with numerous calls lately, and whenever I pick up, there's nothing but silence on the other end. Quite perplexing, to say the least!

When you pick up and greet, there's only silence in response, followed by a mechanical voice chirping “goodbye.” Definitely going to block this number!
