I picked up the call but didn't manage to say anything - there was a lot of commotion on their end, and suddenly they just ended the call.

Received a call from an Indian woman claiming to be from BT, stating there was an issue with our broadband. The odd thing is, we don't even have BT broadband! When I started to ask her more questions, she abruptly ended the call. It felt like a right scam attempt, probably trying to gain access to my computer. Best to just hang up if you come across something like this!

The phone rang again, and I decided to answer it this time. It turned out to be one of those dodgy calls claiming to be a BT engineer trying to sort out issues with my broadband. Honestly, just hang up on them!
