got a call from an 0849 number today, it was a recorded message from a lady with a foreign accent, bit different from the ones ive heard before. she said my internet connection was at risk and would be cut off soon, then asked me to press 1 to speak to bt or 2 to disconnect my service. i’ve also had similar calls from the same voice on 01999699905 and 01167490826. hadn’t looked up these numbers before, seems like they’re cycling through new ones to try and scam people.
