I received a phone call from someone who introduced himself as Adam Smith, but his accent was distinctly Indian. The line was filled with all sorts of chatter in the background, suggesting it was definitely from a call centre based abroad.

Don't wanna come off as 'that bloke', but this call was fishy as hell. Heard a queue of voices in the background, really obvious Indian accent, and the caller said his name was Adam Smith, which felt way too generic. Definitely one of those dodgy call centres trying to scam people.
