They've been ringing me up using my personal information. To make matters worse, this company has withdrawn funds from my bank account without any permission on my part.

I received a call regarding a mortgage query, and as she began to inquire about my interest rate, I mentioned I was content with it. I politely informed her that I was registered with the Telephone Preference Service and that my number is ex-directory. To my surprise, she abruptly hung up! In the background, there were noticeably other voices chattering and laughing away. It's yet another irritating call from a call centre. When on earth will these pestering companies be put in their place?
