I received a call from a woman with a strong Indian accent who said she was representing BT. Now, I have had an internet account with them, but the primary user is actually my husband, not me. When she asked to talk to him, I explained that he wasn't available. Suddenly, she just hung up on me. Quite rude, if you ask me!

I received a rather dubious call from someone claiming to be affiliated with BT Openreach. They insisted that an individual was attempting to breach my internet connection. The caller handed me a code and requested that I perform some actions on my computer to prove his authenticity. I had my doubts from the outset and suspected he was up to no good. After a brief exchange, I decided to hang up, but he promptly rang me again from the number 01883 371110. I've gone ahead and flagged that number as well.
