Got a call at 11:37 this morning from a bloke with an Asian accent saying he was from BT. He used my first name straight away and told me my BT broadband service would be down for about 4 or 5 days. I just told him it wasn’t a problem since I hardly ever use it anyway. Then he just hung up on me. After that, I rang BT myself and they said it was definitely a scam. Luckily, because I noted down the time and area code from my caller ID, their fraud team said they could track where the call came from. So, all good!
