6 yearsSo, during this lockdown period, my landline has been bombarded with six calls, all of which play a recorded message saying my Amazon subscription is about to renew and £79.99 will be taken from my account. They tell me to press one if I want to cancel, but obviously I just hang up straight away. Today alone I’ve already had three calls, and I’m pretty sure it won’t stop there. What’s annoying is each call comes from a different number, all over various parts of the UK, so it’s impossible to tell who’s calling just by the number. The caller IDs I’ve seen are: 01543 877556, 0161 357 0114, 01921 899023, 01252 479708, 01274 207804, and 01491 144165.
