Got a call from someone saying they’re from “b.t.” warning me my internet would get cut off. Had that obvious American accent and sounded totally fishy - definitely a scam!

I got a call from 01490440495, and the person claimed they were with BT, warning me my broadband would be disconnected the next day. They wanted me to switch on my computer, which felt dodgy. When I told them I thought it was a scam, they told me to f##k off a couple of times. Definitely not the real BT.
