Got a voicemail from a lady telling me to contact Dennis Grey at the Inland Revenue and Customs about some national insurance fraud. She said if I don’t call back, it’ll go straight to the Manchester courts for prosecution. After doing some digging, I realised it’s a scam, so I’ve blocked the number now. The number was 01490 419208.

Got a call from +44 1490 419208 too, like others mentioned this seems to be an HMRC NI scam. A woman called me and talked about a "court" referral or something like that. Seems pretty dodgy to me!

I got a call from 01490419208 and it definitely wasn’t HMRC. The person on the other end was speaking with an heavy Indian accent and it was really hard to make out what she was saying. When I asked for her name, she just suddenly hung up. Watch out for this number!

Got a recorded call from a woman saying she was with HMRC, claiming my National Insurance number was compromised and that I might face criminal charges. Seemed really dodgy to me.
