This morning, I was startled by an automated call claiming that my internet security had been breached. It went on to warn me that our internet would be terminated unless I pressed 1. Be extremely cautious with this number - 01490034893, it reeks of a nasty scam!

Got a call on my home phone around 9 this morning. A recorded voice claimed my internet was at risk and told me to “just accept it, press 1”. Of course, I didn’t do anything and hung up straight away. Funny there’s nothing else reported about this number. It showed up as ‘international’ on my caller ID but looks like it’s actually coming from Wales! Bit odd if you ask me.
