It seemed to be coming from some big call centre; a woman claimed to be my neighbourhood energy advisor (though I later found out the number is registered in Bishops Waltham, which is miles away from where I live). She even sounded like she knew what kind of insulation was in my home. At that point, I told her it must be a cold call and that I wasn’t interested, then hung up. I’ve heard the Citizens Advice Bureau has local energy advisors, but I assumed they'd operate only within your own district or nearby areas. I’ll be contacting the CAB tomorrow to get to the bottom of this.
