Received a call purporting to be from BT, warning us of a supposed hacking problem that would result in our internet being cut off within a day. Definitely a scam, best to steer clear whenever you can.

Got a call from some bloke pretending to be from BT, said there was some kind of “hacking problem” and that our internet would be disconnected in ‘24 hours’ if nothing was done. Total con, best to just block the number and not worry about it.
