Fair Trade Practice... I've dealt with them before for a PPI claim and they helped me get back thousands. They sometimes call to talk about new claim options like packaged bank accounts. Definitely a legit company, though they can be a bit pushy at times.

Same deal as the others. Got a call from The Fair Trade Practice again (they've rung me before) with a polite young woman. She mentioned some "new thing" and asked me for my DOB and postcode to confirm details. I told her, with all the scams about, she should explain properly and then I'll check if it's legit. She got annoyed and told me to call back when I wanted to confirm, then hung up on me. Why don’t they get it? People are told to be cautious, so just confirm the info! If she’d asked me to sign anything, I’d have ended the call straight away. Now blocked their number.

Got a call from some bloke trying to get me to sign papers about my ppi. I didn’t see any point in going over it again. Told him no way I’m signing anything. That number is definitely dodgy. Ended up blocking it. I did give him my DOB and postcode, stupidly, but when he asked for my signature, I stopped. Something felt off so I looked up the number online and turned out it was a scam.

Then he went on about some new claim I could make now - lots of nonsense about how things have changed. I gave him my DOB and postcode out of curiosity, then he wanted me to sign documents sent by text. I asked if he could post them instead, he said no and just hung up. Pretty clear scam to me.

First they tried my mobile, then moved on to my landline. The caller claimed to be from some fairtrade outfit, saying "you've probably heard of us." No idea who they were. They then asked for my date of birth and postcode. Nope, not happening. They said it was about my PPI claim and that they had info that might help me. I told them I wasn't interested and they just cut me off. Bit cheeky, really. So I hung around on the call to mess with them a bit, and after a while I get a "hello? dunno what happened with the line." Yeah right, and pigs fly!
