The bloke on the other end was quite put out when I mentioned that I’d never had a prior conversation with them and, in fact, I don’t even have a mortgage. He seemed utterly unwilling to acknowledge that he’d been less than truthful. Honestly, who are these numpties with so little to do that they spend their time harassing others?
