When I asked them who exactly gave them my details, they didn’t like that one bit and just hung up on me. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

Got a call from 01725024353, caller named Eve O’Conner, or so the recorded message said, asking if I’d been in a car crash. I answered yes to be linked to an actual person and maybe get more info. A guy with an Indian accent introduced himself as Paul, claiming to work for Pro Optimal Guidance from London. He mentioned an address as 118 something road, but didn’t clearly say the postcode, and when I asked him to repeat it he just wouldn’t. When I started asking him some questions instead of giving my info, he just hung up on me. Quite dodgy, if you ask me.

I played dumb and asked “Which one?” They put me on hold, then connected me to a call centre overseas. I got a call from 01775 083835, when I picked up and said hello, there was quite a long pause before anyone responded. The voice said something about being Eve, but it sounded very much like a robot from the start. I’m always wary of calls like that, so I was about to hang up when I caught a phrase like ".Pro Optimal Guidance. You have been informed." ringing in my ears. It seemed dodgy, so I looked it up online, and that’s how I ended up here. It was the first time this number contacted me, so I wouldn’t say it was pestering me or anything.

When I asked about how they deal with my data, they just couldn't give a straight answer. It was quite funny, actually.
