I got a recorded call telling me the government recommends wearing masks and if you want to buy one, press 1. When I pressed, a lady with a very English accent answered and I asked for the price and which company was selling them. She just hung up on me, so it’s pretty obvious this is a scam.

I received a rather peculiar recorded message urging us to consistently wear masks, suggesting that if I fancied purchasing one, I should press 1 to connect with their sales team. An extremely posh-sounding lady named Betty answered (clearly, the call was rerouted), but the moment I inquired about the company's identity and the price of the masks, she abruptly terminated the call. Quite odd, if you ask me!
