I got a call today at 11:56 and reported it, but felt I should comment again because it seems REALLY RISKY. The person said they were from Amazon, telling me an iPhone was bought using my account for £899. They wanted me to verify my ID to stop the fraud. Following their instructions, I installed TeamViewer and gave them the ID and password they requested. Luckily, I hung up right after as I realised they’d be able to control my computer remotely. I then checked my Amazon orders and thankfully, there wasn’t any such purchase on my account.

Someone called saying there was a charge on my Amazon account that I hadn’t made. I did what they told me at first, but then I got really suspicious and ended the call, which went on for ages.
