Got a robo call claiming to be from my bank's security team about some dodgy transactions. Problem is, my bank never calls like that. When I tried ringing the number back, it just wasn’t a real one. How on earth do these fake numbers get used? And who’s picking up the cost for these calls? Surely with all the tech we’ve got nowadays, this stuff shouldn’t be happening.
