Got a ring from 01485 772 978, and it was one of those recorded messages claiming to be from bt tech support. They said my ip address was at risk and asked me to call a different number. Bit odd for a huge company like bt to be running these things from a small place like hunstanton in norfolk, isn’t it? Pretty clear it’s just a scam trying to trick you into handing over information for some phishing scam. Phishing and hunstanton, now that’s a weird combo!
