Got a call from someone saying they were EE support, but I don’t even use EE. I told them so and just ended the call straightaway.

They were calling pretending to be from EE! Total scam alert.

I received a phone call claiming to be from EE, offering a tempting 20% reduction on my bill for an upgrade. But hang on a minute - my upgrade isn’t due for another twelve months! How strange is that?

Received a call from someone with an Indian accent, who identified himself as part of Vodafone’s customer service team. He mentioned that due to my excellent credit history, they were keen to enhance my existing Vodafone contract. However, I informed him that I don’t actually have a Vodafone contract at all, and he abruptly ended the call. Seems like yet another dodgy scam attempt to me.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming he was calling from Vodafone offering a better deal. I told him I wasn't even a Vodafone customer and he just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from EE, offering me an upgrade. I asked him how he got hold of my work number and instead of answering, he went off about some stuff related to #### and travel before just hanging up on me. Bit weird if you ask me.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from EE. He said my credit was excellent and offered me an upgrade to an iPhone 14 Pro Max with unlimited stuff for £45 a month. Asked for my full name, but I told him he should already have it since he called me. He then mentioned something about GDPR, so I gave him a bogus name. Next, he wanted my postcode, but that’s when I just hung up and blocked the number. I’m a real EE customer, and I know for a fact they don’t do things like that.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from EE, sounded like an Indian bloke. He told me my credit was excellent and offered an upgrade to the iPhone 14 Pro Max with unlimited calls and data for £45 a month. Asked for my full name, but I just said he should already know since he called me. Then he mentioned GDPR restrictions. I gave him a fake name, and he pressed me for my postcode. Right after that, I hung up and blocked the number. I’m a proper EE customer and that definitely doesn’t seem like their way of doing things.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Vodafone. I told them I’m not a customer and they quickly said sorry and ended the call.

Got a call from someone saying they were from EE and that cuz I’m a loyal customer I could get an upgrade to the iPhone 14 Pro Max. They didn’t really know much about me though, and once they asked for my bank info, I just ended the call straight away. Felt a bit dodgy to me!

This number has been ringing me nonstop today, I’ve lost count but it’s at least five calls. Really hope someone can sort this out.

Someone called me about my internet, but when I tried ringing them back, the number just didn’t exist anymore.
