I received a rather dubious call from someone claiming to represent BT Openreach, a service I'm not even subscribed to! They were insisting there was an issue with my internet, though I certainly wasn't experiencing any problems. When I pointed out that their accent suggested they were from Rajasthan or Kolkata in India, it felt as though I was speaking to a scam artist. Quite amusingly, they hung up on me!
