Got a recorded call supposedly from BT saying they thought my internet might be infected with malware and asked me to press a button to sort it out. I ignored it, and honestly, I’d tell everyone else to do the same. My actual internet company (which isn’t BT by the way) already has my details and always uses my name when they get in touch, so this felt off from the start.

There was this caller and I couldn’t quite catch what they were going on about, something about “BT and numbers” I think? When I told them I couldn’t hear properly, the phone just suddenly cut off. Made me think it might have been some kind of scam.
