Felt like one of those call centre calls. They somehow knew I was having internet issues (which is true) and asked if they could access my browser. I couldn’t trust them since they didn’t provide any proof, so I ended the call right away.

Didn't answer at first ’cause the number was unknown. Just as the voicemail kicked in, the caller hung up.

This morning at half past nine, I got a rather dodgy call from the number 01485 529044, asserting they were from BT, pitching some story about my computer being compromised. The caller's English was quite poor, which set off alarm bells, so I promptly ended the call!
