I chose not to pick up the phone, but I did attempt to ring that number again. Unfortunately, all I received was an error message stating "not a valid number" flashing on my display, followed by the dreaded dead line tone. Quite perplexing, really!

CAUTION!! I’ve noticed several 01485 phone numbers popping up, and they’re all dodgy. These cheeky scammers are after your banking information, pretending to be from HMRC claiming you’ve committed fraud, or warning that your internet access will be cut off unless you grant them remote access to your device. Once that happens, they can unleash a virus to steal your personal data. I had a call from one such number today but chose not to pick up. When I tried ringing it back, I was met with a "not a valid number" notification and a silent tone. Best to steer clear!
