Got a missed call earlier, so I rang back. When someone finally answered, all I got was music and a bloke chuckling in the background. Ended the call right away. Honestly, if you miss a call from this number, best not to bother ringing them back!

Got a call saying my phone contract was up for renewal and tried pushing a new phone on me. I don’t even use Three, they’re the ones who usually message me about this. Definitely a scammer.

They claimed to represent Carphone Warehouse and stated they had been given the green light by my current network to chat about an upgrade. However, they refused to disclose who my network provider was until I answered some security questions! I firmly told them not to bother, as I wasn’t about to share any sensitive information with a stranger on the line! The caller remained courteous and self-assured the whole time, even wishing me a pleasant day when I decided to hang up...
