They kept claiming we’d somehow agreed to and signed paperwork that would let someone interested in buying the next-door property move forward. Apparently, the buyer had forked out quite a bit on getting that document drawn up.

Just got a ring from this number on my phone, they said they were lawyers based in Huddersfield. I’m up here in Scotland, no idea why they’d be calling me so could easily be a dodgy call. Maybe they dialled the wrong number but if I find out more I’ll put an update. Had a look online and they’ve got 15 five-star reviews all from the past few months - that’s a bit fishy if you ask me. So, I’d be careful with this one.
