So this number rang me earlier today, I looked it up here and ended up blocking it. Then, annoyingly, it called me back a couple of hours later but thankfully my call blocker picked it up this time. I've been getting about five scam calls all morning! There really should be some way to track these people down and put a stop to this nonsense.

Beware of the Time Share Refund Scam! If you opt for their proposal to engage a solicitor for legal proceedings in a Spanish court, you could end up losing a hefty £6,000 or more-it's definitely not the 'No Win, No Fee' deal they claim! They might attempt to console you by mentioning that at least you won't be burdened with any further maintenance fees, but don't be fooled by their words. This is nothing but a ruse. Stay vigilant and steer clear of this con!

A bloke named Michael Johnson rang me, said he was calling from NatWest. He kept firing loads of security questions at me that I wasn’t comfortable with, so I decided not to answer any. I looked up the number online and it showed it was from somewhere near Big Ben in London. But then I saw on a couple of sites people were saying the number was used by the NHS and Barclays too, which seems odd. Surely one number can’t belong to three big organisations? Made me think twice about trusting any calls from that number.

Got a call out the blue, someone asking if I’d been in an accident that wasn’t my fault. I told them no way, but they insisted they’d been informed otherwise. I just muted the phone and let it ring on their end. She kept saying “hello? hello?” which is how I figured it was an actual person, not some robo call. After a while, she gave up and hung up. This was a cold call, and it’s against the rules since I’m signed up with the telephone preference service.

Today, I've been bombarded with three phone calls from this number just this morning! I'm beginning to suspect it’s something to do with timeshares. I've explicitly stated my lack of interest, yet they persist in calling, each time delivering a different version of their spiel. At 11am, I managed to catch the name 'Contract Resolutions', but by 1pm, I was only speaking to 'Sophie', who claimed to be inquiring about some sort of 'government investigation'. When I pressed her for the company name, she had the audacity to tell me not to be rude before abruptly ending the call. I tried ringing the number back, but predictably, no one picked up!
