Has anyone picked up when this number rings? Not a clue who’s calling, and I didn’t get any voicemail or anything, just a couple of missed calls. Looks like it might be one of those automated calls checking if the number’s active or something. I never usually pick up if I don’t recognise the number. A representative from a firm called Crown got in touch with me, claiming they were conducting energy assessments in my area. They mentioned they needed to have a chat with the property owner. Quite an unusual request, if you ask me!

Some random number rang me but as soon as I picked up and the answerphone started, they just hung up. Guess it’s one of those dodgy scams again.

Got a call from a woman saying she was with the energy office. She said they were checking homes on my road to make sure insulation was up to date and to offer advice on assistance for that. But then she quickly switched to asking if any of my windows were older than ten years. Turns out she was just pushing double glazing sales! I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.
