When I told them he wasn’t around, they started threatening to smash my head in if I didn’t put him on. I asked why they even wanted him, and they responded with disgusting threats. I ended the call and kept my phone off for a while after that. (Just to clarify, saw something about “Debt Collection” in the call type list, but my dad is retired and has no debts - pretty much everything is sorted by me.)3 yearsAbsolutely chilling experience! Someone called me up, didn’t bother to introduce themselves or mention their company, and immediately asked for my father by name. When I stated he wasn’t around, they escalated it to downright threats, saying something about turning my head into pulp if I didn’t get him. I pressed for their reasons behind all this, which only resulted in more menacing remarks. I decided to end the call at that point and have since cut off my phone.
