The phone rang three times before noon, but there was no voicemail left. On the fourth attempt, my other half answered it. The voice on the line had a foreign accent and insisted he only needed a minute. My partner told him to “quit calling this number”. It’s worth mentioning that this isn't the first time they’ve tried to reach out, and as always, no messages are ever left.

Got a few calls from a promo company today, kept pestering me with these three questions every time. First, they wanted to know if I rent or own. I said neither. Then they asked how that works, so I told them that I just crash at the homeowner's place for free because we’re mates. Next, they started with the usual age questions: over 80, 70, or 60? I said none. Then they tried 20, 30, 40 or 50. Still no. I gave them 17 and they said I need to be an adult to continue talking. Waiting to see if they ring again so I can get even more ridiculous! Will probably block them once I’ve had my fun.

Got a call from an Indian bloke who said his name was “Philip”, claiming to be doing some market research for a few firms. He asked if the person was the homeowner, then wanted to know when our insurance was up. Also asked about how old our TV, fridge freezer and washing machine were. Even threw in questions about PPI and whether we’d dealt with certain banks. The chat went on for about eight minutes, he talked pretty fast but was polite the whole time.

Received a call today at 12:08 GMT, but my phone didn’t connect and just tossed the call aside. Naturally, there was no voice mail or any sort of notification left behind.

I wasn’t sure whether to answer the call at first. When I finally did, I asked if the call was meant for me. The person on the other end talked with a thick accent and there was loads of noise in the background, sounded like a call centre or something. I asked him to say his name again and slow down a bit because I couldn’t make out what he was saying. He just hung up on me, so I have no idea what the call was about now - such a pity! :)

On 24th Feb about 2:33 pm, this guy with an Asian accent called me and said my name. Then he just dropped the phone, totally messing with my afternoon.
