Received a call today at around 14:07 on this fine 2nd of April, 2019. A rather articulate recorded message, claiming to be from HMRC, announced that an arrest warrant had been issued in my name. They provided what I assume was a case number, which was a rather odd combination of a single letter followed by a couple of digits. I was then prompted to press 1 if I wished to discuss and sort out the issue. Clearly a scam, so I decided to hang up and wait for a good ten minutes before engaging in anything. Curiously, they didn't even bother to ask for my name!
