Got a ring from 01484 659984 around 7.45 this mornin’. It woke everyone up since we all work the late shift till 3am. Picked up but no one spoke, they just hung up straight away.

this person claimed to be from some national call blocking thing, trying to get me to sign up for their latest scam caller blocker. quite funny really, since i’m already registered with the tps and i keep notes on every suspicious call i get so i can report them. told them straight up i’d be reporting them too!

Got a call from this number but there was no talking, just heavy breathing and some noises that sounded like they were in an office or something. Really strange and kinda creepy.

It's like the 20th time now this person, who is clearly from some call centre, rings me up pretending to be from Sky, saying there's an issue with my internet. I just told her straight up I knew she wasn’t with Sky or anything, and surprisingly, she hung up on me!

They just kept laughing ridiculously for what felt like ages and then hung up. I could totally see how that might scare older folks or anyone who's vulnerable.

Was trying to talk to some lady from India but just couldn’t get a word she was saying, so I told her off and told her to leave me alone.

It really sounded like a call centre. I answered, a woman said hello, and when I asked what she needed help with, she just cut the call straight away.
