It’s true they operate franchise outlets staffed by some rather shifty salespeople (I used to be one myself). It wouldn’t have taken much for someone there to lift and peddle sensitive information. I had the keys to a trove of data that I could have easily exploited had I been so inclined.

Answered the phone and the caller just hung up straight away! Autodiallers are really getting on my nerves, something should defo be done about them!

I received a rather peculiar call from a South African woman claiming to be with the Android upgrade department. She mentioned that she had sourced my number from the EE database. It struck me as quite strange, given that I've been with a different provider for the past 18 months. Additionally, my number was registered as ex-directory with EE, who are known not to share their customer information with telemarketers. Quite the mystery, really!
