Got a call from “HMRC” and it was a recorded message claiming I’m under investigation for tax fraud. They said if I don’t hit 1 straight away, I’d get arrested with a warrant out for me. They never even said my name or mentioned my National Insurance number. I logged into my online tax account just to be sure, and everything looks fine - no problems whatsoever! Definitely a scam.
