Got a letter telling us to call a number, so I looked up some reviews first. The feedback from others really helped me decide to just ignore that letter completely.

I got a weird letter from a firm named Reunite (or reunitemenow.com) with numbers 01484 508947 and 0800 8778764. There was no proper company registration info on it, and their ICO data protection number was actually linked to some bloke called David Crozier living on 11 Burton Royd Lane in Kirkburton, Huddersfield (HD8 0TU). When I checked the 0800 number, it came up connected to an old debt collector called Tower Investigations. But according to Companies House, that company was officially struck off in 2018. Oddly, the address on Reunite's letter and site was the same as the dissolved company’s - 2 or 2C Dysonwood Way, Huddersfield, HD2 1GN. Seems pretty clear to me this is just some sort of freelance debt collector or a small agency trying to look legit.

I got this dodgy letter from some company named Reunite. Their address doesn’t match anything I could find in business listings, and the phone numbers are a bit suspect too. One of the numbers they had on there was 0800 877 8764. Feels like a phishing scam to me, so watch out!
