No one left a message... honestly, these firms deserve to have their phone lines cut off. There should be an Ofcom rule that if the number isn’t saved in your contacts, it simply shouldn't ring on your phone. The trouble is, the phone companies earn loads from these telemarketers, so they’re not keen on stopping it since it brings in cash. I reckon something like BT Guardian - where callers have to leave a message stating who they are before your phone even rings, and you get to decide if you want to accept the call - should be a standard option on every phone across the UK.
