No voicemail left behind... Honestly, these firms ought to have their lines cut! I reckon we ought to push for a ruling from Ofcom stating that if a number isn't in my contacts, it shouldn't even be able to ring through to me. The real issue here is that telecom companies rake in a fortune from these telemarketing outfits, and they have no intention of sacrificing that income. Honestly, things like BT Guardian, which prompts the caller to leave a message identifying themselves before your phone even starts to ring, should be made standard across every phone in the UK. It would certainly help in filtering out the nonsense!
