I received a call today from someone who seemed to know my street name. He claimed to be representing a company focused on helping homeowners like myself save money by updating windows and doors that were over a decade old, all thanks to some government incentives. When I pointed out that this was a cold call, he got a bit flustered and insisted I was complicating things by questioning him about who he was working for. I made it clear that this was indeed a cold call and politely asked him not to ring me again.
