so apparently it was my internet company calling me, total scam scam scam!

someone rang me claiming they were from vodafone but they didnt even know my name. they tried to get me to upgrade my package early but i told them i already have unlimited data. then they said they’d just make a note on my file and if i had any issues to call them back. yeah, not gonna fall for that one.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Vodafone Huddersfield, wanting to chat about my existing contract. While I do reside in Huddersfield, I've never held a contract with them. Got a call from someone claiming to be Vodafone Huddersfield, asking about my existing contract. I told them I have unlimited minutes, texts and data. When I asked what better deals they had, they just said “more data”. They clearly had no clue about my current deal or contract at all. Definitely don’t hand over any personal info to them.
